Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 30, 2026

AetherGuard Technologies wants the client portal at client.aetherguard.xyz (the "Portal") to be usable by everyone who needs it, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

1. Standard we aim for

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most commonly used for evaluating digital accessibility. This is a goal we actively design and build against, not a certification; see Section 3 for how to tell us if we've missed something.

2. What we've built in

  • Semantic HTML and labeled form fields throughout, so screen readers can correctly announce navigation, buttons, and inputs.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on interactive elements, and a layout that can be operated without a mouse.
  • Color is never the only way information is conveyed — status and severity indicators pair color with text or icons.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background in both the light and dark themes.
  • Support for browser and OS-level text resizing and zoom without loss of content or functionality.
  • Descriptive link and button text rather than generic "click here" phrasing, so link lists remain meaningful out of context.

3. Known limitations

The Portal includes some data-dense areas — charts, ticket chat with file attachments, and tabular billing history — that are more complex to fully optimize for assistive technology than static content. We're aware this kind of interface needs ongoing attention as it evolves, and we treat accessibility reports with the same priority as any other reported defect.

4. Let us know

If you use assistive technology and run into something in the Portal that doesn't work the way it should, please tell us. Open a support ticket (select "Accessibility" if a category option is available) or email support@aetherguard.xyz with:

  • The page or feature involved.
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

We'll acknowledge accessibility reports and work to address genuine barriers to access promptly.
